Terms

What we do

We check Apple’s online store for in-store pickup availability of the iPhones you choose, at the Apple Stores you choose, and notify you when one becomes available. We don’t sell iPhones, reserve them for you, or guarantee you’ll get one. Stock can sell out before you reserve it.

What we don’t cover

Walk-in availability, carrier stores, other retailers, and delivery dates.

Plans and billing

Referral program

You can earn cash by sending friends to us with your referral link or code.

When you share your link or code, follow these rules. Breaking them can void your earnings.

A few more things to know about the program:

Alerts and email

Stock alerts arrive as notifications on the phones and computers where you turn them on. You can turn them off on any device from your account or in your device’s settings. We also email you each time your iPhone comes back in stock (notifications keep coming while it stays in stock), and your sign-in codes. Now and then we may email you news, like a recap of a restock. Each one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never stops your alerts or sign-in codes. If you refer friends, we also email you when we send you a payout and when your payout details change.

Fair use

One account per person. Don’t resell alerts or use the service to buy iPhones in bulk. We may suspend accounts that do.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. Apple can change its store at any time, which can delay or interrupt alerts. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last month.

Privacy

What we collect

How we use it

Only to run the service you signed up for: checking stock, sending alerts and sign-in codes, billing you, and, if you take part, the referral program (discounts, commissions, payouts, and catching self-referrals and fraud). We don’t sell your information or use it for ads.

To catch people referring themselves, we compare a referrer’s and their friend’s hashed connections, the fingerprint Stripe gives each card (never the card number), and email addresses in a standard form (for example, a Gmail address without its dots or +tag).

If someone referred you, they see only counts, like how many friends signed up and how many pay, never your name or email address.

We do show anonymous counts of the alerts we’ve sent, like “48 people notified at 36 Apple Stores,” and which iPhones came in at which stores. They never include names, email addresses, or anything else that identifies you.

Who we share it with

Stripe for payments; Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft, whichever runs your browser’s push service, to deliver notifications (they see an encrypted message, not its contents); Cloudflare to host the service and block bots; Cloudflare and Resend to send email; and PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or Wise, whichever you pick, to send you referral payouts. Each only gets what it needs to do its job.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it: email support@newphonescout.com. If you’re in the UK or the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Deleting your data

Cancel your plan, then email support@newphonescout.com from the address on your account to ask us to delete it. We remove your email address, devices, passkeys, location, and alert history within 30 days. We also delete your referral details and payout handle. If you referred friends, any unpaid balance is forfeited, and we keep records of the payouts we’ve made to you (amount, date and method) for tax and accounting. We keep your old referral code, so nobody else can use it, and the anonymous counts of how often each code’s link was opened. If someone referred you, their record of what they earned stays, without your name on it.
